Subject: A chisel is a chisel, or is it?

But surely even Michaelangelo had a number of chisels of different 
sizes, widths and shapes.  As a master craftsmen he most certainly knew 
which chisel worked best with different types of stone, and for giving 
different texture or form etc. 

He may even have had a favorite chisel made at the until recently 
undiscovered Chiselwerks GMBH in Wetzlar.  In fact, a little known fact 
is that Michaelangelo has recently been credited with being the first 
artist to utilize bokeh in sculpture.
