The 35/2 was by far the best, equal to a Sum,micron many said, I wouldn't dispute that. I've rarely used the 2.8 but have the 1.5 in place on my second M body (I normally have a 35 Summilux on my M6), I think it's fine, sharpness isn't up to Leitz standards and there's interesting spherical abberations around the corners wide open but it handles well and does a reasonable enough job. I believe the 1.8 was an older (all chrome) affair wasn't it?
