While my resume is certainly not as interesting as most I have read - here it is anyway. Neal Findley (or Eddie at the recent seminar) Born in New Mexico, raised in Texas. Currently living in Houston, Tx. Career- Survived 30 years in Federal law enforcement, mostly with US Secret Service. That was interesting from the standpoint of getting to work with widest possible spectrum of people - from the lowest criminal dregs in society (took lots of mug shots) to many of the world's leaders. Photography- Started I guess with my first 35 mm camera in mid fifties, one of the Kodak retina series but I don't recall which - still have a IIIc though with 35mm, 50mm and 80mm. Got serious in mid 70's when I was working in New York City and using Pentax slr. Had my first real darkroom there. Still love to see those BW images appear. Professional? Hardly - I can barely give my photos away. What I like to shoot now- people in bw and landscapes in color and just about anything else that moves or doesn't. Cameras used now: Leica-M2,M3,M6 with 35,50,90,135, have iiic w/old 50 summar but don't really use it anymore. Minilux, GR1 Nikon slr system (manual focus, several bodies) Wife claims I have every Nikon lense made but I am pretty sure I don't. Medium format- Mamiya 7 and a few old Rolleiflexs and cords that I love for black and white. Other interests- computers, good food & wine, lots of other things the list of which changes daily. Wish list- to take a really good photo someday and to finish going through all my stuff and get a web site up and running.
