I own the new 50 Summicron ('96) and find myself using it wide open a good
deal. I was thinking of trading up to a Summilux. I notice that the out of
focus regions are not as smooth in the 50 Summicron as in my 35 Summicron
(Canadian). How do these areas look in the 50 Sumilux? I'm afraid I've
become sensitive to this since the Bokeh article, although I was always
aware of it and found the jarring backgrounds in my Nikkor 50/1.4 very
disturbing.
