Subject: Frames

My new Summaron 35mm 2.8 brings up the 90mm frame on my M3.  (It the model
without "eyes," I prefer a separate finder to the weight of the goggles.)
Is that normal, or is there a problem with the way the lens couples?  It
appears to work well in every other regard and is in reasonably good shape.
 I am assuming it has something to do with the fact that there is no 35mm
frame on an M3, but do want to be sure.
