I thought it had an unusual front element, but took a few B&W shots with = a IIIf around the neighborhood. Tuns out the front element isn't unusual at all - just missing!=20 All you get are very soft shapes with gentle gradations of gray - the ultimate Leica "glow" perhaps? Except it's a Nikkor. . .
