Subject: V35 Enlarger

Appreciated your comments on the V35, Eric. I also have one with the 40mm
Focotar. Previously, I used the Focomat 1C (color) and was amazed at the
autofocus. But I have not yet been able to "zero in" the V35 and am
constantly refocusing it. Do you or anyone else on the LUG know the secret
for tuning focus? I use the 25mm high easels that worked perfectly with the
1C by simply moving the peg on the vertical column to the higher hole -
very simple and very precise. The adjustment dial on top of the V35 does
not lock in height like the peg, and I can't seem to find a setting that
results in accurate focus throughout the enlargement range. Any ideas!

Thanks,

Gary Todoroff
