The new one first had problems with the counter. It didn't reset when I loaded film. That's no big problem and I could live with it, but then the winder broke completely off! I wasn't doing anything unusual. I'll admit I change film very fast at times (can't miss that decisive moment) but that certainly shouldn't break the winder off! I had to carry that useless body around all over Honduras - luckily I had back-up M4's and 3's that I can depend on! The M6 goes back to Leica next week. By the way, they have been very good about repairing things in a hurry for me - one week turn around - or sending a lender if it's going to take awhile. I have no problems with the service, just the quality of the new M6.
