I don't understand the discussion which pretends a M6 deficit. I need to say,
that I never had a Leica (M2, M4, M4-2, blacks and blondes) which has been
built so acurate as my M6 - you even can't get a hair between bottom and
body, because it fits so nice.

Additionally I know at least 2 M2's, and 2 M3's (1 with the double transport)
 on DM 1.500 (ca $ 880, $1 = DM 1.70) each, and 1 M3 (superb condition, nr >
1.100.000) on DM 2.200 (ca $ 1.300) standing in the shops since some weeks.
The price for the used M6's range from DM 3.300 to 3.600 ($ 1.950 to 2.100).
I mean: would you like to change your equipment, e.g. M6 body into a M2 or M3
body?

Sorry, one $880-M3 body less, because I'm buying it myself. But, the
Summicron (DM 880, ca $520) is still available.
