I've had mine for three years and have used it extensively -- often five or six rolls a session -- and haven't had a problem of any kind, which is quite a change from my M3 DS (in the shop four times in three years) and my M4 (in the shop five times in two years). (I've owned several other M Leicas in addition to these, but none which I used that extensively as the M3 and M4.) The M6 is, as I keep saying, the best built, toughest M Leica yet made.
