Good move with the SL, the wife will learn to understand. Had SL,SL2, got the
8, sold the SL2 to buy a 100mm APO.  Heard the SL's a bit tougher, less
sensitive meter, no f stop display,etc.etc.  Have fun with theSL, Careful for
the 2X R converter which won't work(mine didn't seem to happy with the R8
either, gave false f stop?)and the 90 mm2.8.....
