But I rather think that the reason for this was the fact that Leica badly needed the new camera to show at the 96 photokina to promote their going public. and IMHO electrical motordrives are the products Leica has the smalles experience with. On the other hand: If you want a pro camera, go for a Canon EOS 1 or a Nikon F5. Leica image quality is more than you usually can see on a printed picture <g>. Frank
