     Hi,

I do have a comment on the a.) 90/2.8 Elmarit blk (Ger) (39)/ Early /
Excellent $504.00. Several months ago I bought the lens from KEH for
$546.00. I wonder how they still have the same lens they sold to me
on the list for less money. They might have another one in the same
shape. Anyway the description is exactly the same. When I first saw
it quite a while ago, it was almost $600 and they dropped the price
down to $546.00 and now dropped again to $504 if they mistakenly think
     they still have it.
The lens anyway was in much better shape than their rating Ex. As a
serious collector, I would rate it Ex+ easy. I really like their
     consevative rating.

     Regards,
     David

Hello Luggers,

As you know I'm very new to the Leica M system. I haven't bought one yet
due to financial considerations. Many helpful luggers have advised me to
buy used "M" lenses. Looking @ the latest Keh Camera Brokers brochure, here
are a list of M lenses for sale. I got some questions I'd like to address,
perhaps, you guys can give me some advise, suggestions and comments. If you
guys were in my shoes which used
lenses would u pick from the 3 focal lengths ? is there also anything to
watch out for like serial #, etc. I'll be ordering these lenses from mail
order and cannot personally see them.
Is this store reputable and can u recommend other stores in the US that I
can search for ??

BTW, how are these two 35 mm lenses optically and are these better/worst
than the new Summicron 35/2.0 ? Do I need also a separate finder for the M6 ?
Is the 40/2 Rokkor lens worth considering & does this need a separate
finder for the M6 ?

Is there a big different in Canadian and German made lenses ? On the older
and newer lenses ? optically and mechanically ?

Best regards
