I payed about $800 for a mid-80s (I believe) Canada model in mint-
condition at B+H in New York. It did not come with a hood. $700 sounds like
a bit of a bargain, but it's not wildly off.

As far as lens availability, have you tried B+H or Tamarkin or Wall St. Photo?
