Luggers,

I found the following to make an excellent small camera bag for my
purposes:

The Eddie Bauer  "Gear Bag",  Style 2547,   $28
It is water resistant, has three compartments, some padding, good
zippers, shoulder strap,  carrying handle.  Comes in black, green or
khaki.  7 x 3.5 x 9.5in.
