After having used many a Leica lens for the M cameras, I seem to use the
35mm Summicron and the 90mm Summicron the most. It is the 90mm that seems
to catch the sparkle and provide a narrow slice of clear images that really
get your attention - especially for tight portraits. The 90mm Summicron
has its fair share of bokeh. I also use the 50mm Noctilux wide open. It
gives a rather soft look due to so much of the image exists beyond the
central depth of field. It is a very different optic. Tremendous
potential in the hands of a good photographer. I'm still getting used to
it.

Since shooting Leica lenses, I have moved to shooting the lenses as wide
open as possible - to use all of that wonderful available light and to
limit the depth of field. I really don't want everything in focus anymore.
Perhaps I'm finally developing my own style of photographing.
