Dave,
according to Bill Rosauer, my leica dealer ( and involved in running LHSA),
there is an M6-W (for 'wide') in the works, but they're having problems with
making it both high eyepoint and show frames for 21/24/28/35/50/??.
Just rumour, though, not facts...but he does talk to the Leica product managers
for M and R series directly, though.
