Since this will be my first M body, I'm >looking >for ideas. Richard, The black cameras are certainly less flashy and call less attention to themselves, which is why I prefer black. Hanging on your shoulder, a black M6 can be amazingly inconspicuous. If you travel with it, it's also more likely to pass as a point-and-shoot camera (especially with a 35mm Summicron on it) whereas the brighter chrome may be more likely to call attention to itself, both from your subjects and from passers-by. The chrome cameras sure are pretty, though. - - Paul
