I have it!

What you people have on your films is indeed a streak of light. But, do not
despair ... all is explained in Roger/Ted et al's e-mail correspondence.
You have managed to photograph the alien ship bringing R8 parts from the
dark side of the moon. It moves very fast so only appears as a streak of
light on your film. Treasure these UFO pictures.
