Stephen,

What you say about the external features of the M6 is true.  What Marc
says about the internal mechanism of the M6 has been verified to my
satisfaction through conversations with John Van Stelten.  Since he has
a vast experience servicing Leica M's, mine included, I take his word on
these matters as gospel.  On other matters, well...it's worth a few
beers or lunch at least.
