The lab, part of Cal Tech, has been intimately involved with every space project the USA has produced. It has some wonderful WEB sites. The comet site you are interested in is: http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/comet/images.html This site has more than 2600 pictures of the comet, and most of them include the lens, film, and exposure used.
