If I am not mistaken, most Leica lenses were marked with their true (measured
not nominal) focal length on the lens head and the focusing mount to match.
 If you found both focusing mounts for the same focal length you are in
business. You may be better off buying screw mount lenses and using screw to
bayonet adapters as a more cost effective solution.  Certain late lenses are
horribly expensive in screw mount because so few were made.  135 f4 Elmar, 90
f2.8 Elmarit, 90 f2 Summicron other than that this may be the easiest way to
go       Ed
