My choice, however, would be the M3. The M3 along with the M2 is least expensive and give much better viewfinder. A 40mm lens was made for the camera and there is a 40mm frame in the viewfinder. An M2 or an M4-P would be the least expensive body giving you frames for 50 and 35 mm lenses. M4, M4-2 and M6 also would give you those frames but they tend to be more expensive. Any M series body can be repaired by either Leica of numerous shops all over the world. That may not be the case with the CL. Peter Jon White
