Regarding mechanical M6 vs. future M's - I've just recently got my first Leica (M6) and I REALLY like it. I'm sure it has shortcomings (like everything), but it is so much fun to take pictures with!! I very much enjoy the process of taking a picture, and I have not experienced that before with an electronic camera. As for the small viewport, I got contact lenses to see through it better. WOW is it nice to see the 35mm framelines! As for future M's... Both Harley-Davidson and BMW motorcycles updated their product line while keeping their "identity" and using new technology. For me, I am happy with the technology of my M, and secure that it will be servicable for as long as I own it! 2). Regarding tricks and tips of M owners - This is really valuable stuff to me! I am already going to start setting my focus ring on infinity when not using. Such common sense! Thank you all!!! Bob
