Subject: camera shopper vs shutterbug

i gave up on shutterbug many years ago, when they began trying for a
role in the pop/mod photography market. since my primary role is as a
collector, and their ads for that class of equipment sort of
deteriorated to nothing (ah the glory days of the 70s and early 80s),
i was glad to find computer shopper which is sort of like the old old
shutterbug. about half private ads, a few ads like columbus camera
group, and a lot of articles about old cameras, of a technical sort,
often. there is a constant offering of leica equipment there, so it
might be of interest to others in this newsgroup:

i believe the ownership is the same as computer shopper, but the
results are different, a roughly 50 page folded stapled mag of which
almost half are ads.
