If so, does anyone know how much you miss? That is, >what proportion of actual area covered by the lens cannot be seen? Yes, the VF area to its very edge is effectively identical to the 35mm field - -- I don't know whether it is 95% or 105%, but it is very, very close. In my M3 days, I just used this (though I have had a couple of the bug-eye lenses also). This never bothered me, as I crop in the darkroom anyway, so a ragged edge isn't a problem. But it IS quite close. Of course, there is no parallax correction. Marc msmall@roanoke.infi.net FAX: +540/343-7315 Cha robh bas fir gun ghras fir!
