Yes, the VF area to its very edge is effectively identical to the 35mm field
- -- I don't know whether it is 95% or 105%, but it is very, very close.  In
my M3 days, I just used this (though I have had a couple of the bug-eye
lenses also).  This never bothered me, as I crop in the darkroom anyway, so
a ragged edge isn't a problem.  But it IS quite close.  Of course, there is
no parallax correction.
