Well... what you wrote (this is why I *LOVE* to converse on this medium...
everything is written down, and available for review) was the following;

>One of my colleagues went to the USA some weeks ago to cover the

While certainly, my American English is not... by anyone's standards... as
"good" as "English" English, it's still good enough to read what you've
written.

You DID say that it was something that happened in America, and it WAS the
point of your posting.

People on this list were harsh with Beamon, in your defense, for his being
gratuitously insulting to you. You are now gratuitously insulting to me,
and to Fred Ward (one of the GREAT Photojournalists), and several others...
by referring to us as "rednecks".

We still are interested in your point of view, but your behavior is getting
tiresome. It is poor form (and a lousy way to be politically influential)
to insult people who are attempting to be friendly with you... for no other
reason than just... to be friendly with you.

                                                Greg.

P.S....
Which is MORE Currupt... a multi-national corporation, whose existence is
designed to make profits for its stockholders... or an anti-fascist who
will not take responsibilty for what he has written?
