Der Leicagluehen? Puh-lease!

Here's a great test you can do with your Leica to demonstrate once and for
all the famous "Leica Glow".

Find a volunteer and a string of christmas lights, the small pin-point type
(the lights, not the model).

String the lights at face level with your subject so that they run alongside
her face along the axis of your lens. At a slight angle to the strand, make
pictures of your model at each of the available f/stops, maintaining the
focus on her eyes. Include, of course, the strand of lights. You can do this
with all of your lenses (except Marc as he would be there for days) to get a
feel for each of them.

What this will show is at what depth of focus and to what degree you can
throw specular highlights out of focus relative to your subject. It's an
interesting exercise. "Glow" on, try it.
