Subject: What polariser for 24mm Elmarit-R?

For the 24mm/f2.8 Elmarit-R, do I need 
a] the E60 polariser or 
b] the series VIII polariser? 
Or do I have a choice? 
I'd like to use it with the lens hood fitted if that works.
