That's interesting I have never been impressed with the leitz finders; I
have a metal 21mm as well as the truly flimsy 28mm plastic version and
could never understand the price people are willing to pay for them on the
used market.
Are the russian finders available as a stand alone product or must
they be bought with a lens?
Also, is there a 28mm russian finder, I would be more than happy to
retire my Leitz finder to a new home and replace it with a better and
cheaper product.
As a side note, my 28mm finder is a replacemrnt for one I lost out
in the middle of nowhere. The original had, over time, somehow become a
little worn and wouldn't stay put in the accessory shoe. I had thought,
erroneously as it turned out, that a couple of pieces of electrical tape
would see it remain in place.
Anyone else here have trouble with plastic finders not staying put?
