I have also compared the reading of my Pentax spot meter with that of the M5
using the PX625 (unknown manufacturer) and PX625U (Varta) batteries. This
time, I used the gray side of the card as reference.

Again, the results were the same for the three methods. I am still astounded.

My tests were done indoors using an incandescent light source. Tomorrow, I
will repeat the tests using natural light.

ps. I still do not believe that the M5 has an internal regulator.
