It's all part of the multinational approach to reducing costs while > maintaining variety, quality and high profits. I don't have the book in front of me, but off the top of my head I believe that Leica and Minolta both made their own versions of the 40mm f2 lens, the Leica version called a Summicron-C and the Minolta version called a Rokkor-C. The 90mm f4 lens was only made in Germany by Leica, but was shipped with two names, either Elmar-C or Rokkor-C. --Jim Dempsey-- jjd@bbn.com http://frontdoor.bbn.com/users/jjd
