I've tried it.

It doesn't work, because the rangefinder is out of focus with the lens.
I have experencied this in real life and by coincedence red it in a
manual this evening that you CAN'T use the M3 35mm's without spectactles
on other camera's unless you don't need the rangefinder working
accuratly.

I also have a lot experince with all visoflexes and bellows. I prefer the
visoflex 3 with bellows 2 and compendium, because it is small very
versatile and easiest to operate. On the other hand when you only make
macro pictures using a tripod and never want to focus your 135 to
infinity a viso I is very usuable. in the first half of production there
were only screw mount viso I's but later on they were also made with
bayonet mount. Of course you can use any screwmount/bayonetmountadapter
on a sm viso I to a M camera
The bellows I with viso I gives more magnification compared to the
bellows 2 with viso 2/3 just because it is longer. On the other hand on
the viso2/3 you can use a 50mm with ring16469 which results in a
magnification of 1:1, while not using any bellows at all.
On the viso I you can also use the 200mm and longer lenses without using
the extra ring16466.
On the viso2/3 you can use the 135, 90 and 65 all focusing to infinity
while using the schnecke 16464. This schnecke can be made longer using
one or more extensiontubes16472/16471 and then gives more magnification.
The viso I must be operated with a double cable release while the viso
2/3 are very easy to use and don't need a cable release.
As far as I know there is not something like a new technology focusing
screen for the viso's. But the screen of the viso2/3 can easily be
removed and cleaned and maybe some clever repairman can customize
something for you.

Conclusion:When you only making macro pictures with your 135mm using a
tripod, buy the viso I with bellows I. When you want a more versatile
piece of equipment by the viso2/3 with bellows 2.

Greetings,

		Michiel.

PS. Try to get a compendium with your bellows.
