        A leica IIIg (869726), with a Leitz Summicron 5cm f/2 (1042917), in
condition 3F (ie. very minimal signs of wear) sold for 1495 sterling ( I'm
not sure of the exchange rate) at the auction at Christies last month.

Another one (same lens and same condition), with a slight dent on
the top plate and a maker's ever ready case, and a 9 cm Elamr f/4, sold for
1150 sterling.

                                                Cheers, Claude.
