This should be a routine repair if you send it to Leica USA in NJ. Most
parts for M3s are still available. But if you don't notice it in your pictures,
it's probably not affecting the images. Could it be in the overlapped section
between the 1st and the 2nd curtain, in which case there is still no leak
of light.
