I asked from local camera and optics repair shop,
how to clean a lens. There I was told the way they
they do it at the shop. They use three ingredients:
 - highly refined petroleum spirit,
 - wads of cotton and
 - pressurizer air (from aerosol can).
First, use pressurized air and soft paintbrush to clean
the lens from dust as usual.
Then, put small amount of petroleum to a cotton,
and wipe the lens with very gentle circular motions.
To finish the treat, use pressurized air again to dry
the lens. Never use lens cleaning paper!
I asked whether the lens coatings can
withstand the petroleum and he said it's harmless.

Have any f you LUG nuts heard from this sort of
technique?
