HCB was wonderful.... Hi LUG's - I did too. Thanks Ed Meyer for alerting us/me. I usually miss that show because of Tutorial. Thank God the semester is winding down! Anyway, I enjoyed it too. But the interviewer (I don't know his name) appeared so stupid sometimes. It was almost embarrasing to hear it. He just didn't get it or couldn't comprehend that here was a person who plays by different rules than most other people. Wonderful! I know what he means when he talks about his "work". I got off jury duty last Summer after trying to explain the same idea to some lawyer. > ... But the word Leica was not used once unless I > need a hearing aide... ---> hearing aid Who cares. Any camera reasonably unobtrusive that can shoot a good number of photos/roll (36/roll), reliably (look Ma, no batteries) would work. I bet he might like my Olympus XA. > I wonder how well HCB would do with state-of-the-art Wunderplastick? Would > anyone care to comment! My guesses: Too obtrusive. Klunk...whirrr; klunk...whirrr. (Rewinding: Whirrrrrrrrrrrr......rrrrrrrrr..click) Too slow: Exposure = (Decisive Moment + Delay) Too un-reliable: Have you ever pressed the shutter release and nothing happened. Lots! Too many batteries: I wonder how much they cost in India? What I learned from this short clip was that he is a real artist. The ideal camera would be for him would be to have something imbedded near his eyeball so that when he winks, an image would be recorded.
