Subject: Leica M perspective error

In defense of the good doctor, there is a sense in which the M viewfinder
does show some perspective error compared to an SLR lens. When close
focussing, the small difference in position between the lens and
viewfinder does cause a difference in the relative locations of near and
far objects in the viewfinder vs. the lens. Some folks have learned to
move the camera up and to the left a bit to move the lens to where the
viewfinder was to compensate for this. It's really not exactly what we
were discussing before, but it's worth noting.
