Amen to Ken's statement of the dual range Summicron. Granted it won't serve
as a true macro but the performance of my 60's vintage example is still
amazing. There's an example (elm.gif) on my Web page
(http://www.connix.com/~royzart) where I used this lens in the near focus
setting on a tripod with the aperture at f/16 for maximum depth of field.
