Well I'm in the process of selling the Angenieux 28-70/2.6 AF for Nikon-
sadly, part of my becoming an EOS user rather than a Nikon user means
parting with that lens. It's sitting in its box, waiting to be sent off,
looking at me balefully through the cardboard. But perhaps I can find
one in EOS mount sometime. And as consolation I've still got the
Angenieux 70-210 for Leica R, and I really ought to get out and use
it...

What I'd be very interested to know is what Angenieux lenses were made
for Leica rangefinder cameras. And whether any have such special
qualities as to make them preferable to the equivalent Leica lenses.

And for that matter, are there any other non-Leica lenses that are
particularly special that anyone can think of (for Leica cameras that
is)?
