I'm sorry, you've lost me now. I am well aware that Leica makes a small fraction of cameras and lenses that are made by the Japanese companies that mass-produce them; I think probably everybody on this email group knows that. I have no personal insecurity about that; there will always be companies that cater for the top end of the market. What I don't understand is- what point you are trying to make. -- joe b.
