Actually, R4s shoudl be selling in the 300-400 range by now. They are 
not nearly as good as the R5(E) and higher. But they did me just fine 
for yeras.

There really is a difference in the look of the R lenses, as I said 
before, I actually still prefer the R look to the M look, though the Ms 
are nothing to sneeze at. But that's what I used for 15 years. Also note 
the R system is more up to date in designs.
