Gary,

Yes, I believe you will find "Leica M - The advanced school of 
photography" by Gunter Osterloh to be excellent!  I refer to it 
faithfully quite often and find the data easy to read, understand and 
very, very reliable.

It is for the M series only and it's close cousins, the CL and CLE in a 
slight reference.  It does not, however, give much "ink" to the earlier 
screw thread models.

(Aside to Gary:  This is the book I meant to copy from and mail to you 
but find the copyright laws to impede me.  Sorry!)
