It's noticeable that, on this most stimulating of discussion groups, there's been much more reaction to how the messages should be delivered than to what this Group is all about. Answering your point - I couldn't care less about the computer medium - apart from being a Mac freak- which is judged by some as a minority interest. If you want an idiot-proof program, Eudora does it better than most, and it ain't Mac exclusive. Other than that, there's a workaround for almost every computer communications problem. Which brings me to an interesting parallel: a) We are a minority group par excellence (literally) - we eat, breathe, and even use, one of the best cameras ever invented. How we choose to communicate about the topic is secondary. The Leica is state-of-the art. The Net definitely ain't, and we all have to live with its imperfections. Full marks to Brian Reid for ever setting up a site in the first place - I wouldn't have the first idea how to start. However: b) Even a state-of-the-art camera is only a medium for producing pictures. Is there any simple way (Brian, are you listening?) of having a photo gallery on this or a related site? We can discuss the merits of one lens against another until we're blue in the face, but it'd be instructive to see the results. Some of you good people are already going along this road with your own Websites - all I'm asking if this wouldn't be an interesting option for the Group?
