Some time ago it was rewired and instead of wiring up the socket at the head of the chrome pole the wire just runs down to the switch in the side of the baseboard. I would like to rewire it correctly but cannot work out how to release the socket from the top of the pole. Anyone any suggestions? Also wondering about fitting a longer pole as mine only runs up high enough for 10x8 - did Leitz ever make a longer one? Nick Jackson Kuala Lumpur
