Subject: Collapsible lens lock

Continuing my novice journey into the marvelous world of Leica, I found
an inexpensive 50mm f2 collapsible Summar to use with my IIIc, but it
doesn't seem to lock in place after pulling it out and turning it
according to the arrows on the lens barrel. When I change the f-stop
the whole lens moves. Does this indicate that some piece of the lens
or camera mount has worn so much that it doesn't engage properly? Anything
I can check or repair? Thanks, Allen
