I understand that, in order to fit the 28mm frameline, the M6 finder
magnification is even smaller than the M4, whereas the M3 magnfication is
too large to contain a 35mm frameline. Thus, to use a 35mm lens on an M3,
the "eyes" version is required. Does the M6J have a 35mm frameline, or is
an eyes version of the 35mm lens required. Maybe the M6J is a trial
balloon to see if there is much general enthusiasm for that finder
magnification ratio.

I'm happy with optical rangerfinders, but I sure would like a zoomfinder,
TTL flash and a spotmeter for my $2200.

I'm not sure I want to, but is there any way an outfit like Professional
Camera Repair (Marty Forscher) in NYC can remove unwanted frame lines
from the M6. I'd love to lose framelines for which I don't have lenses
(28mm, 75mm, 135mm).

On a different note, is anyone else using the old Canon 19mm/f3.5 SM lens
(with adapter) on their M Leica? If so, how does it compare to the
various 21mm Angulons (f4.0, f3.5, f2.8)?
