The XA itself sports a 35mm/2.8 lens, which Olympus proudly brands "Zuiko," its own house name. FWIW, more modern Olympus P&Ss are simply called "Olympus" lenses. There were also the Olympus XA2, XA3, XA4, each I believe dispensing with the coupled rangefinder, and offering instead a 3.5 lens. Perhaps its the latter lens, on these lower priced family members, that is not up to par. Dave
