[Leica] OT: printing a book

I have in the past used Blurb to print my photo books. The service is good for that. But now I have a different kind of book, a book where the text is the important part and the photos are there just to illustrate. I have it as Word file (native format) and an A5 PDF version that I have sent to a local printing house here in Alicante. But their binding machine has broken, and given that we have the Easter week coming up when nothing gets done in Spain, I do not have high hopes of being able to print my book there any time soon.

I was therefore wondering if there are services out there which would allow me simply to upload a PDF and have it printed professionally. I would prefer a service in Europe since the sizing standards are different in the US, and so I would have to reformat the book for half letter size instead of A5.

I know that Blurb can in principle deal with uploaded PDFs, but having read the instructions I am not keen on dealing with the complications.

TIA,
Nathan
