During the day, our temperatures here in Alicante are pretty normal for the season, 33-35C. What is different this year is that they do not decline that much during the night, making it feel hotter overall. For my bike rides which invariably involve going inland where it is hotter than here at the seaside, and also climbing during the first half of each ride, it means that I must get out early, say at 8 a.m. on weekends so as to finish the uphill part of ride before it gets too hot.
